Challenge |
• |
Network Rail challenged Velocity to create an event marketing programme that would reward their maintenance staff for achieving pre set safety targets.
|
|
• |
To launch an event that would excite, motivate and thank staff for their hard work and commitment by delivering an entertaining experience for employees and their families.
|
| |
• |
In addition, Network Rail required the programme to deliver enhanced perceptions of the organisation as an employer, to encourage future target initiatives and improve employee morale.
|
Response |
• |
Velocity created an 'around the world' fun day concept - the Big World Party and used this as a template for all four of the event locations taking place.
|
| |
• |
It was important to the client that the events were exciting, entertaining and memorable.
|
| |
• |
Velocity had to find a fine balance for delivering entertainment to a predominately male audience plus their families.
|
| |
• |
The Big World Party concept allowed for the delivery of messaging reiterating 'World Class Safety' while also providing a platform for attractions and entertainment for the large audience consistent with a Global theme.
|
Solution |
• |
Velocity was responsible for all aspects of event production and working closely with all internal stakeholders and partners.
|
| |
• |
The event was extremely successful and received excellent feedback from the client and their employees.
|
| |
• |
The project concluded with a thorough event evaluation and recommendation for further programme development.
|
| |
• |
"Everyone who attended had a great day. It far exceeded our guests expectations".
|
| |
• |
"The events themselves were run well because of your bright ideas, good planning, hard work, attention to detail and professionalism."
